Founded in 2011, DigVentures is an innovative social enterprise committed to designing, developing and delivering community archaeology projects throughout the UK and further afield. Projects have included Flag Fen Lives, the world’s first crowdfunded and crowdsourced archaeological excavation, and the recently launched DigStarter, the world’s only crowdfunding and crowdsourcing platform dedicated exclusively to helping archaeology and heritage projects launch sustainable projects, build communities and profile, and raise funds.
